If you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) that is experience short battery life, the problem may actually be with your wireless router. It has been reported that connecting iOS devices to wireless routers running out of date firmware can actually cause the battery to drain unexpectedly fast. The fix for this problem is to update the firmware on your wireless router to the latest versions. In some cases this battery drain issue did not begin until updating to iOS 4.x, which seems to be more picky about the wireless router’s firmware.
