OS X 10.9 will include many iOS features and integrations, including a lock screen and the ability to push things to iOS devices. This is no surprise to me, because Apple combined their iOS and OS X development teams late last year, and it’s my personal belief that Apple’s ultimate goal is to create a single OS that will run on mobile and desktop Apple devices.

Maverick also will have new options for using multiple displays (including the ability to wirelessly use a HDTV connected to an Apple TV), better use of RAM by compressing inactive memory, and improved battery life by only providing power to active apps.
